Interior Move Consultants, Inc. (IMC) was founded in 1988 as a corporate relocation consulting firm. IMC is a woman and minority owned, privately held New York State "C" corporation. Over the past two decades, under the leadership of Elizabeth and Fred Wasserman, IMC has emerged as a leader in the relocation field, providing cutting-edge solutions and expert hands-on project management for our clients.
In 1988, IMC was contracted by Time Inc. as consultant/coordinator for all moves within the Time Magazine Group. When the AOL Time Warner merger took place in 1990, IMC was centrally involved in a wide-ranging variety of consolidations, relocations and restacking. Over the years, other IMC clients have included such industry leaders as Verizon, Scholastic Inc., Merck & Co. and Citigroup.
Since its inception, IMC has successfully relocated more than 500,000 people in the Tri-state area (New York New Jersey and Connecticut) and nationwide. Our community involvement includes close relationships with the Catholic Youth Organization, Association for the Multiple Impaired Blind, Inc. and Pediatric Cancer Foundation. IMC was honored by Verizon for the September 11th Recovery.
